Eligibility
Who can take part in the World Firefighters Games 2012
WFG2012 is open to all:
- Firefighters – full time, part time (auxiliary), volunteer and rural firefighters, aviation, military, paramedics, SES plus administrative and trade staff from, and direct family members of, these agencies. Emergency services and non uniformed staff employed by a fire service.
- Firefighters and non-uniformed and emergency services formerly employed by a fire service who have retired.
- Spouses, partners and children over the age of 18-yrs are eligible to participate in all events except the Toughest Firefighter Alive.
- Each sport may impose a lesser age limit at it's own discretion.
- The Toughest Firefighter Alive (TFA) event is open to firefighters only.

Non-competitors such as Non-Playing Coaches, Technical Support Personnel and Accompanying Persons will also have to register and pay Sport Entry Fees. For further information see (Non Competitors).
